  • The domain revista.tviso.com is unactive or closed since several weeks, and I would like to recover the circa 500 posts I have on the wordpress page in that site. I wasn’t the administrator nor the owner, but i am willing to do anything possible to recover that information including purchasing the domain or the blog.

Please let me know if there is any possibility to retrieve all this information and keep working on this page within WordPress.org, which I’ve been hosting for almost seven years

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hold on. You are neither administrator of the website nor owner, but you are the hoster, know that the website is down (which seems to be a hosting problem) and want to … save it? I am confused.

Basically your question has nothing to do with wordpress as far as I can see. If you are concerned with content from websites that are now unreachable, you could use the Wayback Machine. See: https://web.archive.org – but a full backup should be available in your hosting (which you must have been running for 7 years). Confusing.

Thanks for your quick answer and sorry for the confusing terms of the first post, I’m not the host nor the administrator nor the owner of the site, just the main writer of posts on the website https://revista.tviso.com which is actually down.

My main concern is to recover all this information, so I will try to retrieve it with the link you’ve provided me. I just wanted to know if there was any possibility to keeo working with that established domain in WordPress.

    Thank you, anyway

No, there is no other way. Only the website owner and the hoster have technical access to the data.
