 * Hello,
    Few days ago i deleted from cPanel the website [http://cramadomneasca.net/](http://cramadomneasca.net/).
   It was here (see the image) [http://postimg.org/image/yp73ce885/](http://postimg.org/image/yp73ce885/)
 * I just pressed the big red X button (i didn’t made a clone or something).
 * I deleted also the ftp files.
 * Now I have to put it online..I recovered the ftp files and uploaded them. If
   you go to cramadomneasca.net there’s this message “Error establishing a database
   connection” which is obvious, because I deleted it (I think?). Now I want to
   reinstall it but I’m afraid to make a database with the same name because it
   will overwrite the old one and lose all the data (?)

 * I don’t know if I am right, that’s why I need your help 🙂
    I need that website
   up and running.
 * Thanks in advance!

 * No, you will likely just get an error message saying it already exists. However,
   what you really need to do here is to go to cPanel and get the previous database
   name, table_prefix, SQL user and password to add in wp-config.php so you can
   simply use what you already had.

 * The forum rules do not permit this.

 * okay, excuse me.

 * I’m trying to install it again and indeed it says it already exists. But also
   it says “Select the checkbox to overwrite all files and continue”….so what comes
   in my mind, can’t I just check this box, install the database and after that
   copy the old files into ftp?
 * thank you.

 * or what you are telling me here is to install a new database and change in the
   wp-config.php the new database name, table_prefix, SQL user and password?

 * The problem is I can’t see the database, but it exists if it gives e that overwriting
   error (image below with information_schema)

 * cPanel > MySQL at your host is where you would discover your database name and
   MySQL username and then make a new password for that user so you can add all
   of that to wp-config.php. Then cPanel > phpMyAdmin is where you can find the
   table_prefix used in that database so you can also add that in wp-config.

 * Hello,
 * Thank you for your reply. I’ve been there many times but the database in not
   visible. If I try to make one with the same name, it says the database already
   exists.

 * Maybe contact your host and ask why you cannot find/see your WordPress database.
   One possibility is that you might not be logging in with the credentials for
   a user of that specific database.
