That’s strange. Clicking the “Reset to default fields” button will restore all the default fields that were removed. We are not sure why you are facing this issue. Could you please temporarily deactivate our plugin and verify whether the billing_address_2 field is showing on the checkout page or not?

it looks like the field has been removed permanently… some others fields too.
i turned off plugin Checkout Field Editor for WooCommerce on my test page.
We can see that the fields are still not showing on the checkout page even after our plugin is deactivated which means there might be some code or style using which the fields are removed or hidden from the checkout page.
Could you please raise a ticket through our website? We hope our technical team will be able to have a look into it.
