Record ID Not being Set

    Roland,

    I am having a problem adding new records via the admin backend. The record_id field is not being set, as a result I am unable to edit the new records or delete them. (I have managed to amend these new records using phpmyadmin but would prefer a more permanent solution)

    Adding new records was working fine in early December, so I assume something in the latest update has changed

    PDB Version 1.7.7.1

    I’m not aware of any recent changes that would affect this, and I’m not seeing this problem in my tests, nor have I had similar reports, so I’m not sure what is happening here.

    Do you have your PHP error log set up and can you run a test with WP_DEBUG on?

    Problem Solved. Your comments made me realise that it must be something I had done in phpmyadmin. Checked and fixed the tables – everything now works.
