Recommended image compression plugin?

    Hello Orvis developers,

    Which image compressing plugin would you recommend for use with Orvis? It should not break the portfolio layout or any other part of the site.

    Without image compression the site is too slow! We are having a hard time even editing a post with 6 images in it. The site is for an artist, so high quality images are necessary; but they need to be compressed of course otherwise they are 3 to 10 MB each which is too much

    Hi there – I don’t have a specific image compression plugin to recommend, and I haven’t tested any with Orvis. Smush is a well-rated one you might want to try:

    I also recommend compressing and shrinking your images before you even upload them to our site, using a graphics program. No need to let your images take up that much space on your WordPress site. 🙂

    I have an Orvis Theme & use WP Smush successfully & post a lot of imagery.
