 * Hi,
 * I have been looking at frameworks available for WordPress so as to work on responsive
   designs. Zeroed in on twitter bootstrap, and wp-foundation (this is currently
   based on zurb foundation 3.0….an older version). Also, REACTOR is a theme that
   I have bumped into. Its based on Zurb foundation 4.
 * My websites for WordPress are currently brochures sites.
 * a. Recently my clients have started demanding responsive site design and I would
   like to have some recommendations about the direction that I should be taking.
 * b. Are there limitation / restrictions in using plugins when using frameworks?.
 * Thanks.

 * Have you tried using any of the responsive themes?

 * As far as use of plugins is concerned, there is actually no restriction on the
   number of plugins used – but using too many plugins can sometimes affect your
   site performance as they may use up too much resources at the server.

 * Thanks Krishna, Yes I understand that part of Plugins…….too many may create issues…………
   but my questions about plugins is with regards to framerwork….
 * **b. b. Are there limitation / restrictions in using plugins when using frameworks?.**
 * Frameworks use a certain jquery library or javascript libraries (if I am correct)
   and does this automatically limit the usage of plugins that maybe using other
   jquery libraries?
 * No I have not used responsive themes. From what I understand its better to use
   framework. I read this article below –

 * In fact, it depends on the framework that you are using – in the sense that if
   the theme is already using the functionality done with plugins. For example,
   functions of SEO plugins that are built into themes. I myself use Genesis for
   two of my sites and free WordPress themes for others. I personally believe in
   using simple responsive themes and to supplement them for additional functionality
   with plugins though I do not use too many plugins.
