Reciprocal link not working

I have a multisite installation with an English site and a Portuguese site. When I set the link on the Portuguese post to the English post, it works fine. But when I set the link on the English post to the Portuguese post, the reciprocal link is not working. I have this problem already for a while, could that be a bug?

Could you please check if you have more than one user active and – if so – if they are set in both installations as a reference?

I am using in both installations the Super Admin account to manage the site. The post author has everywhere author privileges, but I guess the important privileges are who is managing the site.

No there is a setting called “Reference User” 😉

Alright, I found it. The reference user is in both cases the super admin.

And, I guess, the languages are correctly set for both of the sites?

Normally it should work like that: If you set a link in one site it will automatically update it on the other website too. Do you have more than one site with English as a language? If so, go to that website and look in the dashboard of the switcher if you can exclude it there (there is also an option for that).

I have two english sites in the network, but the second site does not have the plugin activated. Like I said, it works fine from Portuguese to English. But from English to Portuguese, the reciprocal link is not working, it is just gibberish.

The plugin must be active in the sites where you expect the functionality. Please share a screenshot of the MSLS dashboard where you have the plugin active. Also via mail if you don’t like to share it here: re@lloc.de
