It seems that google does not index my recipies right.
When my recipies gets indexed, it shows up like this in google:

Every recipies gets that smiley face, instead of the featurede image. It works perfectly on my own site.

any ways to get google to index it like a proper recipie with the correct photos? I have yoast seo installed.

If you test that page in Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool you can see that the recipe metadata is there and valid, including the recipe image:

I don’t think there’s anything we can do apart from that. Google has all the information available but chooses to show a different image than the one we tell him is the recipe image.

They are probably just experimenting with showing different images.

Another page you could check is the Structured Data section in Google’s Search Console/Webmaster Tools. Make sure there are no errors there either.
