• Is there some kind of conflict with the Yoast plugin or with Elementor? Because the SEO Description field is not working, the recipes look like they have no meta description tag even though we copied the content of the Recipe Excerpt into the SEO Description field. And it was supposed to display the Recipe Excerpt by default anyway, right? That’s what it says, that when nothing is entered it will use the Recipe Excerpt.

Also, when testing the recipes with the structured data testing tool we get warnings for all the properties like recipeIngredient, because they’re not recognised for a WebPage type object. Why are recipes marked as WebPage? Is this coming from Yoast’s automatic Schema output and fails to be overridden by the Cooked plugin? We put a lot of work into migrating to this plugin precisely for the structured data. How can these problems be fixed?

nevermind. To anyone using this plugin + elementor pro.
Remember to not add any display condition on the elementor template created for the single recipe post type.
