    Strange issue.
If I open any Recipe Card from any older post of mine (using the knife and fork icon in edit post) I can view, modify and save any configuration settings for the recipe as per normal.

However any more recent post drafts I have (from last couple of months), that I try place a Recipe into for the first time (using the same button), it just shows a blank pop up (no config settings are shown).

So I cannot add any new recipes to my site.
What has happened to the Plugin to explain this? (and how to get new ones working again?)

I should add that this issue has been tested and occurs on multiple browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Safari) and on both PC and Mac computers.

    Hi @wozitano,

Thanks for the details. Can you get the PHP error logs for me? This is quite odd, indeed. The edit/create new screen doesn’t differ much.

You can send me the PHP logs at hello at ziprecipes.net

    Thanks for your response.
I have not found anything remarkable or seemingly related in the PHP error log.

So seeing as the Edit and the Create New are two different screens, can you confirm which template files relate to each (and what code may be different between the two, in order to track the issue down)? (since they are so similar as you say, it shouldnt be hard to find what differs might be causing the issue?)

In the interim as a workaround, is there any issue with me manually typing the shortcode ‘[amd-zlrecipe-recipe:33]’ into the code ‘Text’ view of the Post (so long as I use the next available unused recipe number) and then simply switch back to the ‘Visual’ view and click on the knife&fork icon to enter the rest of the values in Edit mode?
(basically, although this is clunky, will this do the same job, or are there certain database steps loaded on ‘Create New’ that will be missed by doing it this way?

Thanks for your responsive support (otherwise great plugin)

    Hi @wozitano,

The popup to edit/create recipe has an iframe in it. You can use your browsers developers tools to see what the URL of the broken iFrame is. That’ll give us a good start.

    Here’s a little guide for chrome: https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/inspect-styles/edit-dom
