Recent updates to Extensions (or Leaflet) brake map on my event pages

    I have happily been showing event maps on the event page for several year so thanks for a great plugin.

    Though after recent updates to Leaflet and/or Extensions for the routes no longer display on the map.

    This only happens when a map is displayed through the Events Manager plugins template; it still works on a new post or page.

    I can’t for the life of me figure what has broken (I’m a grassroots event organiser who has built my own site, I’m not a developer).

    This is the error I get in Firefox console

    TypeError: can't access property "rotateControl", map is undefined

    How is your shortcode for the map and for elevation?

    There were a lot of changes; it wasn’t just my plugin that got an update. Does it work, if you rollback to the previous version?

    Did you change anything? I see, that you are using the Compliance plugin. The same error occured, if I tested my settings for the Compliance plugin. I changed the switch for “Openstreetmap” off and on, then my test page works again.

    But today I get no banner from Compliance and no map if I open your page with a “fresh” browser. Tested with Firefox and Chrome.

    Thanks @hupe13 for fresh eyes. It was Complianz blocking it.

    I got it working on non event pages as it was always in draft preview so Complianz hadn’t kicked in.

    If something isn’t working and I don’t think it’s my fault, it’s usually a GDPR plugin or a caching plugin.
