Recent update to Black Studio TinyMCE Widget makes Rev Slider blank
-
I just updated Black Studio TinyMCE Widget and now my Revolution Slider is blank. It was working fine before. I have the Rev Slider inserted into a widget. I need help to get my website up and running again.

Another user reported a similar problem. Please try this quick fix.
Please update to version 2.0.3. It should fix the issues.
I just updated to version 2.0.3. and no change. I’m using the U-Design theme. Any other ideas?
Which version of Rev Slider are you using? I had no problems with version 4.6.0. If you have an older one, I’d suggest to update it.
What are the settings of that specific slider? Is it inserted using a shortcode inside the widget? Could you paste the shortcode you are using here?
As quick solutions you may try the following:
1. Revert to Black Studio TinyMCE Widget 1.4.8 that you can download here.
2. Use a plain text widget instead of visual editor widget
3. Use the native Rev Slider widgetI’m using Rev Slider version 4.6.0. with the visual editor in the widget. This is the shortcode that I have pasted into the visual editor…[rev_slider slider1]
I will try your other suggestions as well.
Thanks for your help!!! I just got it to work again by using the plain text widget instead of visual editor widget. Appreciate you working with me on this:)
In the meantime I discovered that it’s the U-Design theme that has a conflict with new version of BSTW and it prevents the Rev Slider from working. I will release a fix for that. Stay tuned.
Good to know! I appreciate your responsiveness and good ideas for solutions in the meantime! I will look forward to the next upgrade working better with U-Design. Great detective work!
The new version 2.0.4 has been released. It will appear in your dashboard updates shortly. Please let me know if it works for you.
So I tested Version 2.0.4 and it works!!! Yeah! Thanks for all your help!
