I have the same issue. It seems when you use images instead of icons, the size and background get messed up. For example, if I set the size of an image to 25px it ends up as 40px. There’s also no way for an image to have a transparent background. I’ve been switching all my sites to a different plugin. I had been using this plugin for years.
