    Hi, I installed the recent update and my website has died:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘, expecting ‘)’ in D:\kingsolomonsbeard.com\wwwroot\wp-content\plugins\seriously-simple-podcasting\includes\class-podmotor-handler.php on line 225

    Any advice?

    Hi @drvarney,

    Can you confirm what version of the plugin you’re attempting to upgrade to? v1.16.2 is stable and has been tested to be working properly. There was an issue with the initial release version of v1.16 which is what sounds like may be happening with your site now.

    If your site is down in order to resolve the plugin conflict you can work with your hosting provider (or if you’re handy with FTP/File Manager can do it yourself) to disable or delete the plugin manually you’ll then be able to install the newest version without any trouble.
