# Recent Posts Widget Extended

 * I set the excerpt length for the post to be 150, but it is only showing 41 words
   which is what I set excerpt length to in functions. Even when I take that out
   of the functions though it still doesn’t show 150.
 * Any ideas?
 * I want the latest post excerpt to be 150, but want the page excerpts lower down
   the page to be 41.
