# recent posts plug: remove date?

 * Is it possible to remove the date from outputting in the recent posts plugin?
   
   i really like the plug, and have been messing around trying to strip out the 
   right code to have only the titles output into the side bar. no luck so far. 
   anyone know what to remove?

   does not have this problem.

 * Do you know the tag that I would throw in with:
    `<?php get_recent_posts(5, '','',
   true, 5); ?> to have the number of comments appear at the end? such as “this 
   is a recent post (2)”
