# Recent Posts on Static Page

 * Hi,
    I would like to add recent posts to the front page, which I have set as 
   static. I want them to be under the content, or in the footer. I am not sure 
   how to do it, because I cannot add a widget to the pages. Thank you!

 * How are you doing today?
 * There is a plugin that allows you to add widget to your page/post content by 
   using a shortcode so you can try doing that, you’ll find the plugin I’m referring
   to here [https://wordpress.org/plugins/amr-shortcode-any-widget/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/amr-shortcode-any-widget/).
