recent posts is not picking up

– the homepage section with recent posts is not picking up any posts regardless of how many it should be picking up.

Have you configured your theme to display latest posts on Homepage ?
check in your admin page :
Appearance >> Customize >> Homepage Settings :

Your homepage displays:
– Your latest posts
– A static page

Make sure you picked the first option

Have you configured both , the Theme and the main WordPress settings as well ?

check in your admin page :
Settings >> Reading :
Reading Settings
Your homepage displays
= Your latest posts
= A static page (select below)

Hi @myrosacrawford,

I checked your site and found that you have published 7 posts which are displaying in the slider.

By default in the free theme, the posts displaying in the slider is not shown on the homepage.

To display the post on the homepage, I suggest you decrease the number of posts displaying in the slider from 7. You can reduce the number of posts in the slider via Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer > General Settings > Slider Settings. Please check this screenshot – http://prntscr.com/pozt1b

This will resolve the issue. If it doesn’t, kindly let us know.
