Recent Posts Carousel text colour

Hi

I’ve changed the background of my site, pages, posts.
When I see the recent posts carousel at the bottom of my posts, the body text is still in grey.
the ebtry date and next/previous buttons are also still in grey.

I have changed my sitewide fonts colour to white, but the text colour in the carousel is still in grey.

The Carousel posts title and date is fine (White), but the rest is till greyed out.

I’ve deactivated all plugins except Akismet, TablePress, Virtue / Pinnacle ToolKit and WP Maintenance Mode.

But this problem was there before TablePress and WP Maintenance Mode plugins were activated.

Please advise.
