recent post

Hi! I recently moved transferred to WordPress from Blogger.com and so far, I find WordPress a lot better than blogger. I have one complaint though, the “recent posts” like the one in the new blogger.com is missing from WordPress. Anyone know how I can add this to WordPress? Thanks!
