• Recently an email was completely “skipped” by the plugin. It registered as being sent in my Mail Logs inside the WordPress Dashboard. BUT – it never actually sent. Mailgun doesn’t show anything about this email in their logs. Emails before and after have been successful, so I don’t know what has caused an issue with this isolated incident. But this is really concerning because it was an Order Notification, so we were not notified that an order was placed, and thus did not fulfill the order. Naturally, this leads to an unhappy customer. Really not good for business. If we can’t rely on emails being sent and no errors appearing when they fail, we can’t really rely on this plugin.

What version of the Mailgun for WordPress plugin are you using?
What plugin are you using for your forms?
Were there any updates to your website or the hosting server?
Can you check your WordPress logs? Server logs?

Mailgun for WordPress plugin was version 1.5.13.1. I just updated this to 1.6
The message that failed to send was a WooCommerce notification. We’re running WooCommerce 3.4.5.
There’s nothing in the WordPress or server logs regarding an error or warning about this.

Did you notice anything else regarding this specific WooCommerce order? Did the order place correctly? Did the client receive an order confirmation?

    Customer got their email notification.

I see in the WP Email Log in the Dashboard that the email did register as having been sent. But none of us received it (there are 3 recipients) and its not shown at all in the Mailgun log. So there wasn’t an error for it… somehow it just “disappeared” between WordPress registering it as being sent and Mailgun getting triggered to send it.

Today I went in to WooCommerce and manually had it re-send the email notification and it sent fine. Really strange.
