Recent Comments Widget return incorrect page link

    My blog has several pages and some of them has paginated comments. It seems the recent comments widget return the page link to the wrong paginated comments.

    Anyone has the same problem? It has been like this since earlier version of wordpress.org and with every theme I use.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

    I have tried the twenty eleven but the problem persists.

    It seems the default recent comment widget always miscalculates the correct comment page number.

    I found this on a website http://brimosoft.nl/2011/07/12/pagination-problems/ . They seems to have similar problem.

    I surmised this could be a wordpress bug. Do you think?
