You need to create two static pages for this. One for blog and one for homepage. If you don’t want any content under the featured pages on front page, leave content of the homepage empty.
Now go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Homepage.
Select “A static page” as template. Select the static page for homepage and the one for blog page from the two corresponding drop-downs.
Save and you’re done.

I think I have the same issue as pfrainho, but I do not fully understand the solution.
My home page is set up as I would like it @ http://www.play25s.com
However when you click on Get Involved I want to go to my blog. I have ended up having to have a static page with a plugin with my latest post titles and it looks awful.
How can I have Get Involved to show
– latest blog posts
– full text not excerpts
– comments shown

Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Front Page. Make sure “A static page” is selected for “Front page displays”. There will appear another select box above it: Posts Page. Select “Get Involved” from the list. The recent posts should appear now on Get involved page.
In order to keep your first page clean, you need to create an empty page and select it as front page. If you don’t put any content in it, nothing will be displayed, right?

I have the same problem. Everything was followed correctly. My Blog page shows my 2 blog entries (site just went Live) but no matter what I do, it won’t show a comments box so people can make comments.but if you select a post from “Recent Posts” in the left side widget, it shows BOTH posts TOGETHER with a Comments box.
I just don’t understand why my Blog won’t behave.

Hola, first thanks for Customizr Theme & acub, this is driving me slowly to get more deeply into WordPress taxonomies and CSS´s!
I have a problem that i think im quite close to have the solution, but still not on the right path.
I need to have on the Homepage, the slider, the 3 featured pages and posts about “NOTICIAS” category/tag.
Then on a specific page called Productos, the posts about this category/tag called also “productos”.
Right now i have create the Blog.php on my child theme.
Also i have done
• Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Homepage.
• Select “A static page” as template.
• Select the static page for homepage and Productos for blog page.
I can see the page Productos with my posts, but no posts displayed on the startpage.
what I´m missing after one week reading this thread?
