receiving emails from contact form

Good morning. I’m new to the forum so forgive me if I’m not posting in the right place. I looked a a bunch of locations but couldn’t find the answer to my problem.
I’ve put together a Word Press page with a contact form for viewers to submit comments to my Outlook e-mail address. The default was my Yahoo account but I don’t want messages there so I put in my [removed] account in the “TO” line in the edit contact form page. But when I test it using the contact page on the freedom-ring.net web site no e-mail shows up in that mail box But sending an e-mail to that box from a Yahoo address and the e-mail shows up fine. I don’t know what I’m missing at this point so if someone can direct me to a solution that would be great.
