Received Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object

    After updating to 4.1.1, admins were unable to login to wp-admin. Enabling debug logging indicated:

    Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /var/www/vhosts/casinonovascotia.com/httpdocs/wp-includes/query.php on line 28

    Removing wp-smushit fixed it. It may very well be a compatibility issue with some other plugin or component, but I wasn’t provided enough debugging data to troubleshoot it further.
