Support » Plugin: ReCaptcha v2 for Contact Form 7 » ReCATCHA Not displaying

  • Resolved simonharrington

The ReCAPTCHA checkbox does not appear on one contact form on my site:

I have cleared all of the caches on my site, but still have this issue. The plugin has been updated to 1.3.3.

If the page is reloaded (ctrl+f5) the captcha shows.

Interestingly, the captcha form does appear on other forms on the same site:

As this is affecting enquiries from my site, I have had to remove the shortcode from the contact form 7 settings, but I still would like to have it as it stops spam.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • On web console I’m seeing the message “reCAPTCHA couldn’t find user-provided function: recaptchaCallback”, that’s exactly what I’m seeing on my contact form as well after it stopped working all of a sudden (I’ve auto-update enabled).

Hoping the developer will kindly look into it.

@russelljohn Please create a separate forum thread for your issue. It’s much easier to track when each issue has its own thread.

@simonharrington First, try clearing your Autoptimize Caches. If you find that doesn’t solve the problem try adding the following to…

Settings > Autoptimize > Exclude scripts from Autoptimize:

The exclusion box takes a comma-separated list of files to exclude from concatenating. We suspect that the concatenation is the issue and allowing the above script to load on its own will hopefully solve this issue. Once you have the change in place please clear your Autoptimize Caches once more.

@iqcomputing Sorry, wasn’t trying to hijack the thread, just mentioned my problem here as it was similar to OPs. Anyway the solution you provided worked for me, so thank you very much! <3
