reCAPTCHA verification fails when logging into WordPress site

    Hi there,
    I am busy with a new website using a PopularFX theme. This is my first time using Pagelayer as I took a few years off from web development and designing to raise my baby. So everything feels and looks new to me.
    I kept getting errors whenever I tried adding the Google reCaptcha site key and secret code. It added the codes, but did not work properly.
    This morning I was busy editing when all of a sudden I was prompted to log in again to wp-admin on this site. And now I keep getting this message: The CAPTCHA verification failed. Please try again. And after 3 failed attempts I can only try again after 15 minutes. I thought it might be a Wordfence plugin issue and renamed Wordfence in my FTP files for now, but the problem is still persisting. Not getting any help by searching the forums either… I have since also deleted the reCaptcha keys from my Google profile which I now think might have been a mistake…

    Any help will be truly appreciate.

    Because you deleted the reCaptcha keys, it would be easier if you delete Wordfence plugin (you can install later).

    Follow these insights https://www.wordfence.com/help/advanced/remove-or-reset/ to completely remove the plugin (including database tables associated with Wordfence plugin.

    Then its just matter of reinstalling the plugin. You can also create new recaptcha keys and use the new ones.

    Thank you for your response. It ended up being the Loginizer plug in that caused my headache today. Renamed it and everything back to normal. Very happy I did not have to revert to my last backed up version as I would have lost so much work.
