With reCaptcha v3 enabled, new visitors to my site are unable to register for an event using a Caldera plugin form. They are blocked by reCaptcha but not shown a way to verify that they are not a bot. With reCaptcha in test mode, no problem.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey @lannyherbwalkscom,

I haven’t been able to reproduce this on my site. Are you by chance also using Caldera Forms Anti Spam? If so, there may be a conflict in using two CAPTCHAs. If you are using it, can you try disabling it to see if this still happens?

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

    Hi Gerroald,

Yes, anti-spam was enabled in Caldera Form. I disabled it and took reCaptcha out of test mode. I’m not sure how to test the user interface myself because v3 already recognizes me behind the veil. Can you check it?

    Thanks,
    Lanny

    Hey @lannyherbwalkscom,

It looks like it’s working now. You check for my form submission “gerroald”.

The error message that was showing was actually from Anti Spam, not Wordfence which lead me to believe there was a conflict. I don’t think it’s really an issue since it’s typically advised to not use similar features in separate plugins to avoid conflicts.

Please let us know if anything else comes up.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
