• Hi, @robertpeake ,

    I hope this message finds you well.

    I read your pinned post, and i can understand and relate to that.
    Still, i’d like to ask: do you have any plans to add support for reCAPTCHA v3 to the plugin?

    I mention this because i love your plugin’s simplicity and efficiency, and i’d rather keep using it, but migration to v3 is becoming an increasing necessity.

    Best regards,
    @sergiorcs82

    My take is that v3 is not an “upgrade” but a different use-case. I have tried it with logins, and if the v3 (invisible) fails, you have to fall back to v2 anyway to give the (possibly real) user a chance. So, v2 seems like the right fit for logins, as most people are used to checking a box now and, when they do, getting in if they are a real person every time. So, no plans to do a v3 with v2 fallback right now. That said, if you are keen to contribute I’d welcome a pull request on GitHub. https://github.com/cyberscribe/login-recaptcha

    Wow, i wasn’t expecting such a quick reply! Thanks!

    I’ve reached the same conclusion as you: invisible reCAPTCHA isn’t so great, which is why i opt for v3 visible. So, you may ask “What’s the point, then?”.

    Recently i’ve tried to use your plugin on a site whose main theme is Divi. Divi has integrated support for reCAPTCHA v3 in its forms, so it generated a conflict that i could only solve by replacing Login No Captcha reCAPTCHA with a plugin that supports v3. This pained me, because i feel the alternatives currently available on WordPress.org are poor. (Either bloated or could use some polish.) Your plugin really is the best, as far as i’m concerned.

    I totally understand that you may not have the need or time (or will!) to invest in this, though. I’ll happily contribute the code if i can find some time too. 🙂

    Feel free to close this topic if you have nothing to add. Thanks for the awesome plugin.

    Would be great to migrate to a VISIBLE v3 captcha at some point. At the moment, I’m really busy, but would welcome a pull request anytime: https://github.com/cyberscribe/login-recaptcha/graphs/contributors
