I apologize if this has already been answered: I didn’t read all pages on the support forum, and I haven’t thoroughly tested the plugin yet.

Is the plugin compatible with plugins that add a recaptcha to login/register forms? (will the recaptcha appear in the proper place? will users be requested to pass recaptcha even when using a social login?)
Or does your plugin already have recaptcha implemented?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi @bufus

For social logins there’s you don’t for recaptcha or such.

The users can’t register unless the provider (like Facebook) returns the user data. So people without a social account can’t use the social login and can’t have an account on your site.
In order to finish the registration process, whoever tries to register to your site will need to have a Facebook/Google/Twitter account first, and spambots can’t really have that.

Hello, @nextend_ramona, and thank you for the (extremely) prompt reply!

But won’t a bot be able to register without a social account?

    Hi @bufus

Not with the social login. A social account can only be created after the provider “verified” the user by sending back their data.

With the default WordPress login, sure, it’s possible to have bot registrations and a captcha can help with that. But captchas don’t really affect social registrations.

I understand. I’ll test it with a recaptcha plugin and see if I come across any conflict.
    Thanks again.

Confirmed. Nextend social login plugin works with the plugin “Login No Captcha reCAPTCHA”, by Robert Peake, no conflicts or overrides that I could notice (I didn’t get locked out of the site, which is good).
Thank you for your time. I will mark this as solved.
