reCaptcha showing randomly on my forms

    Hi, On my Contacts page I have several buttons and a bunch of heading blocks that pop up Forminator forms using PopupMaker. They all have reCaptcha V2 Invisible and it used to show on the forms when they popped up. Now the reCaptcha is missing from most forms, and it is random which it does and doesn’t show up on. Even in Troubleshooting mode with only Forminator and Popup Maker activated, the reCaptchas have the same problem. No errors show in the Firefox browser console. Chrome browser same behavior.
    I’ve tried changing the ajax vs refresh, cacheing, everything I’ve seen suggested in other threads relating to reCaptcha but none made a difference. WP SuperCache plugin is deactivated.
    The only difference between behavior in Troubleshooting vs normal mode is that in normal mode the forms frequently don’t pop up. They try to and the display shifts to the right, but you have to hit ESC to dismiss the invisible form before you can try again to click it open.

    Sorry to hear you are having this problem.

    I was able to replicate the issue on my website and we are going to report to the plugin developer.

    Could you please try to disable the ReCaptcha for now on PopUps and use the Honeypot protection at Form > Behaviour?

    A good antispam that will check the Forminator submissions is the akismet anti-spam.

    Kindly keep eyes on the Update and the plugin changelogs, on the next week there is an upcoming update that from my local tests can help on the problem too,

    That’s good news.
    I will disable ReCaptcha by deleting the keys. (By the way, it’s a royal pain adding Recaptcha back onto 14 forms after deleting the keys or after deleting the ReCaptcha field from each form. Is there a way to make Forminator retain the Recaptcha field settings so those fields reappear with their previous settings after putting the keys back in?)
    Honeypot is already enabled.
    I will gladly watch for the next plugin update.

    Hello,
    We are still unable to use Recaptcha on our forms, and it is worse than before. WHen I started this thread, random forms were showing REcaptcha, but not many of them. Now when I enable Recaptcha and it SHOULD be on every form, it doesn’t show on any form, but because user can’t interact with missing Recaptcha, all form submissions fail.
    I hope the team finds a solution soon.

    Most recent version of Forminator contains a fix for the issue already and there’s been no updates here from you since it was release so I’m marking this thread as resolved for now.

    If you haven’t yet updated Forminator to the newest version, please do. If you are still experiencing the issue after that, please feel free to re-open this ticket and we’ll be ready to assist you again.
