• Hi there,

After configuring reCaptcha v2, default option (visible), when I load a blog post I can see this error:

reCaptcha Error: reCAPTCHA placeholder element must be an element or id

    Any ideas? Many thanks!

    Hi @artgoddess,

Please make sure you are using the latest version of the wpDiscuz(v. 7.0.7) plugin.

Also please make sure the keys you inserted to the according fields are correct.

Yes, I am using wpDiscuz 7.0.7 with WP 5.5.

I have also deleted site in reCAPTCHA and regenerated keys again.

After thorough testing, seems that this error message only appears when…

Google reCAPTCHA > General > Display on Subscription Form

    …is ON.

    Any thoughts? Many thanks!

    Hi @artgoddess,

Please leave the example URL to allow us to check it.

    Hello,

I have the same problem. It happens

    – When “Display on Subscription Form” option is ON (in the plugin settings)
    – For the posts that already have comments and “Allow Comments” is OFF (in the per post settings)
