Support » Plugin: Frontend Uploader » reCAPTCHA only on one instance of Frontend Uploader instead of all of them

  • Hi,

I have multiple instances of the Frontend Uploader on my site for different uses. Most of them are behind a member login, however 1 uploader is for public post submissions. I’ve noticed a large number of spam posts lately so I’ve enabled the built in reCAPTCHA. I added the [recaptcha][/recaptcha] shortcode to my form to get the “I’m not a robot” checkbox. It all appears to work well.

However, I noticed that the reCAPTCHA is being added to my other forms even through I haven’t added the shortcode so these forms fail the spam check each time. I could probably resolve this by adding the reCAPTCHA shortcode to all of these forms but I would like to avoid it if I can. Adding the checkbox will add an extra step to these other frontend tools that are frequently used by admins.

Is it possible to target only 1 form with reCAPTCHA while leaving the other forms unaffected? My goal is to put reCAPTCHA only on the public form but not the ones that are already behind a login.

    Thanks,
    Mike S
