What form where you using the reCaptcha on, and what reCaptcha service/plugin where you using exactly?
May I suggest the WPBruiser plugin instead, in case your form is MailChimp for WP form.

Contact Form 7, and using native integration of Google reCAPTCHA available in Contact Form 7. I noticed that the plugin has since been updated since I reported this problem, so it might have been fixed. I’ll update the plugin and test.

Alright, thanks for testing and letting us know! If you still have the issue, can you please also created a page with the form on it, without Boxzilla, and see if it works there?
Also, I strongly suggest looking into https://wordpress.org/plugins/goodbye-captcha/
It works well with CF7.
