ReCaptcha Doesn't Work

    I have just updated to WP-Members 2.9.6

    I have re-entered both my public and private keys.

    ReCaptcha is not showing up on my registration form.

    I can not keep up with the spam registrations that are resulting so I will be going back to an older version of WP-member until I can get this resolved.

    I hope someone can help.

    There were some changes in recent versions to update the option setting that stores CAPTCHA information. If something went wrong with that process during the update, that could generate an issue. However, I am surprised you continued to have issues after re-entering your API keys. I suggest verifying that the API keys are valid and that you have not inadvertently reversed them (private vs public). There is also an option to use Really Simple Captcha as an alternative CAPTCHA. However, note that you must have the Really Simple Captcha plugin installed to use it.
