Rebuilding sitemap?

    Hi there,

    Is it possible to rebuild an existing sitemap that is Google submitted?
    I have to move a bunch of standard posts to specific CPTs and as the URLs will automatically be changed I’m wondering whether I’ll need to rebuild the XML sitemap for that purpose.

    The XML sitemap is rebuilt when you save the XML Sitemap settings, even without changing them. Pretty sure it’s also rebuilt when something changes on your site.

    If neither of this happens, and you have caching, make sure the sitemap is excluded from caching.

    Your real issue is redirection of the URLs, which requires either the premium Yoast plugin or some alternative, like Redirection.
