• I have changed my settings for thumbnail sizes but now want to rebuild all of my thumbnails.

Is there a way to do this? I can;t find an option in the CP anywhere.

  • you can’t.

yes you can. Go to Manage Gallery, Edit your gallery and you’ll find a “Create New Thumbnails” option there.

    Where is this located?

I would like to know the answer to this as well. I have uploaded many images and my settings for the thumbnails have changed. I’d hate to re-upload all of the images again.

Why bother reuploading the thumbnails again?

Are the thumbs smaller or larger than the prior? If it’s smaller then just css it.

I’m using a third-party template that requires the thumbnails generated by WordPress to have certain dimensions.

WordPress does not have a function to regenerate these thumbnails should the size settings change, or at least not from what I can see.

As a result, all of the images on my blog look awkward. Using CSS to adjust the images would be a hack job and drop the quality of my photographs since it will stretch an image that is already too small.
