"REBLOG" from past post

    I can’t believe that I am having to post asking about this because it seems like such a obvious feature to me. Apparently it’s either not possible or not needed by anyone else but me but let me try and explain what I am needing/wanting to do.
    From Admin section I want to be able to:
    1:Have a button under each post that would “REBLOG/REPOST” the selected post as NEW (NOT, change the original post but to REBLOG/SHARE it again on the same blog) and either have the option to post immediately or save as a Draft.
    (I have used a PLUGIN that does REBLOG the oldest post as new but has no real options other than a time in between and does not have a manual REBLOG option per post…Also seems a bit buggy)
    This seems like it would just be needed by more than myself…Anyone know how to do this easier? I also just read that wordpress.com blogs seem to have the REBLOG option? why them and Not us?

    It’s just weird…We can at anytime REBLOG any post to FB,GOOGLE etc but we can’t REBLOG it to our own blog. Sometimes a post don’t get enough attention or a better time to post it becomes available. If we could simply REBLOG the post we could retain our view count on any attached photos/galleries while still being able to share the post as new so it is re shared to all our connections such as FB, GOOGLE, LINKED-IN…ETC
