Really simple widget for custom gallery/slideshow? NOT post/page related

First of all: i know there are tons of requests for galleries and slideshows, I’ve pretty much read them all.

Second of all: there are tons of gallery/slideshow plugins, I’ve downloaded tons

Third: I’ve already spent hours on googling for ‘best wordpress gallery plugin’, ‘wordpress gallery widget’ and numerous other combinations

Last: I know of great plugins like Lightbox plus, Nextgen etc… They are great, but still not providing what I need

bottom line: I still didn’t found what I need. My requirements are:

1. It should be basic and simple (nextgen is waaaay too bloated for my liking)
2. It should be able to create galleries by manually selecting pictures, not pulled from pages of posts
3. It should have a widget that can display a gallery in a sidebar or other widget-location
4. It should use a caroussel or lightbox-alike script
5. Optional, but a pre is possible: it should pull images from the wp gallery, but not ALL of them, not from specific posts or pages, but only the ones you want

I’m afraid I have too many demands, but hopefully I overlooked one that totally matches these requirements.
