    Hi,

we’re hosted by SiteGround and recently we installed their SG Optimizer plugin having Force HTTPS feature. While installing we got warning that these 2 don’t really like each other…:)

Which one we should use ?

    Hi George,

I don’t expect there to be a conflict, but if the needed functionality is already there, it’s a bit overkill to install another plugin to do the same thing. So I guess that’s what the warning is intended to say.

I don’t know this other plugin, but the name suggests it forces https only, while Really Simple SSL forces https (with either php redirect or .htaccess redirect), fixes mixed content, and changes your site_url to https. It’s up to you to decide what features are needed. If you only need a force https tool, the SG optimizer might work fine too.

    Hope this helps 🙂
