Support » Plugin: WordPress Media Library Folders » Really Good Plugin

  • I am glad, that this plugin exists. For my Website, there are really much diffrent pictures, logos and documents, i have to handle. I don’t understand, why wordpress itself don’t offer such a tool.

    I just can recomment it, to everyone, who also has many files to coordinate.

    I just have 2 critiques:
    1. I don’t understand, why it always creates a folder with the current year and month. I deleted it many times, but is recreates this folder every time.
    2. I would like to upload more than one file at the time directly in the folders, rather than upload all files and move them afterwards in the correct folder.

    But these are just two little points. In general it does it’s job very well!

  • Hi

    To your critical points
    1. This is the basic setting of WordPress. It has nothing to do with Media Library Folders. You can change this in the settings of wordpress.Change that in Settings->Media>File upload
    2. After you have changed the setting, you can create folders and copy the images directly into the proper folders.
    Hope this helps

    @noahderlange,
    To upload multiple files at once, use drag and drop; that is why when you click the Add Files button, the File Upload area says “Drag & Drop Files Here”. Thus, you can select several files from your computers file manager and then drag and drop them into the file upload area.

    Note that you should first navigate to the destination folder or your choice using the folder tree and then the files you you upload will be place in the current folder.
