Support » Plugin: Nimble Page Builder » Really good customizer/builder, getting better all the time

  • I am really happy that such a stable theme has a great builder now. It’s growing in features all the time. One thing I’d like to see is a way to export single page content and design settings, or at least modular design settings (like from staging to live). Forgive me if this is here already, it wasn’t last time I checked. Because it’s wysiwyg, I’d like to reproduce exactly single page settings, or better container settings without going through the wysiwyg process, or importing site settings. (possibly the ability to save and export container settings, or to use numeric values that can be duplicated more easily that exists in other builders) Once something like this is there, I’ll up my rating to 5 stars, cause it’d be a big time-saver. Overall really easy to use and not too resource-intensive like some of the other builder options out there. Again, I can’t say how much I trust this theme, the team behind it, how efficient it is, how stable-y updated, and how well-tested with plugins, etc. This gives you the ability to create more unique sites and to get a little design-y. Awesome!

Hi @zignorp thank you very much for your feedback.
Nimble Builder actually has an export / import feature, allowing you to reuse entire page templates or sections.
You can export your sections on a per-page basis, and import them in any other website. If you have images in the import, they will be automatically added to the media library, even if you import your design from another website.

This is documented here : https://docs.presscustomizr.com/article/391-how-to-export-and-import-templates-with-nimble-builder
I hope this will suit your needs !

I don’t really see the part about just importing/exporting one section, but since there was only one nimble builder section that I was working with on the home page, I was able to make it work. I had to import the same file twice, the first time the import didn’t take, even though it seemed to give me the feedback that it did, and I hit save draft and used the preview url. The second time I tried to import it, it showed up immediately while the nimble customize sidebar was up, same json file, I didn’t have to export again. Luckily I’m working on a dev site first, so I can test it with impunity. I’d like to see more section-specific documentation, and I’ll up my review to five stars, but I’m pretty excited about this. You can ignore my feedback on the documentation url, it’s the same as what I’m posting here. Thanks!
