EDIT: I had a big misunderstanding of some visual aspect of the website.

This review looks professional, and is great to work with.

    Old review:

When I view the /category/projects page [or any of the /category/x pages] of my website, and scroll to the bottom there the number which says what page I am on is backwards…

When I am on the first /category/projects page, it highlights the highest number. When clicking next, it goes down 1 number. This is backwards to how /posts works…

So I guess the posts are sorted by most recent and that’s why they show up first, but the pages are done that the first page has the oldest post.

It just looks a bit weird when scrolling to the bottom. I wonder if this can be changed?

    Otherwise a cool theme.

    Hi @othornew,

We have checked the issue. We think there’s a little bit of misunderstanding.

The highlighted button is not the current page but other pages that can be jumped on, and current page is the one with no background color.

So we think in your experience, when you are on an archive page with 2 pages, on page 1, page 1 has no background color and not clickable, because it is current page.

However page 2 is now a button and has a blue background. So you might think you are on page 2 because it is highlighted, and on page 2, it looks like next page is decreased by one and you are one page 1.

So bottom line, there is no problem with the component, and current page is shown as no background, and other pages has a blue button to represent clickability.

Please test it out with a category which more than 2 pages, you will understand the situation better.

We tested out some other visual representations for current page, but just plain number with no color and background works the best. If we came up with a new visual, will update, but for now, it is at its best.

    Hope this helps.
