We would like to improve our communication and support but without your info we have no way of knowing which features and functionality you were hoping to obtain with the free plug-in. You may add hundreds or thousands of locations with the free base plug-in, there are no limits. The only limitations would be due to your hosting company or your Google queries which are fairly high based on daily queries.
which features or functionality did you ask for, and where did you ask (email, forums, WP support?)? We want to make sure we are answering questions and providing support in a timely fashion. We receive quite a few emails a day. We check our forums on a regular basis and provide free support, if there is something we could do better what would it be?

Your profile was created on the same day you emailed asking about the options and then posting this review without giving us details on what feature and functionality you were looking for. Based on the email you wanted to use HTML . Your remarks in the email did not indicate you were dissatisfied with the free plugin as you stated” Good plugin but overall the documentation is confusing. If I did want custom HTML options, which plugin / add-on would I need?” We asked for clarification and provided you with the links on our site. The SLP is indeed Open source in WordPress and you can view all the coding in the read me text as well as using any developer tools.
If you just joined WordPress, is there something we can help you with? The author of SLP has worked with the Core WP team for many years and is very active with the community.
