# Reader Can’t Comment

 * A friend of mine has been having trouble commenting on my blog for the last couple
   of weeks; here’s her description:
 * > When I enter a comment, the screen changes just as if my comment had registered,
   > except it’s not there. If I try to re-enter the comment in its exact form, 
   > I will get a blank white screen that says something to the effect of “Duplicate
   > comment–it looks like you’ve already said that” and it won’t register.
 * Anyone have any idea what’s going on? I have Akismet running, but she’s not even
   showing up as spam or as a comment that needs moderation – it’s like the comment
   vanishes into thin air.
