    Before you open a new support ticket try the following first:

    – Exclude the caching folder wp-content/cache from cloning process
    – Exclude any security or redirection plugin from cloning process (iThemes Security, wordfence and so on)
    – Try again to clone the site

    If this does not resolve the issue:

    – Enable the wp staging debug log
    – Run again the cloning process
    – Create a new support topic here and include the log file which you find in wp-content/uploads/wp-staging/logs

    What else can you do?

    Install latest version from https://wp-staging.com/wp-staging.zip

    – Delete all files in wp-content/uploads/wp-staging
    – Enable wp staging debug mode
    – Create another clone and change name of the staging site to a new one
    – Send me log file from wp-content/uploads/wp-staging/logs
    – Send me tools->system info details

    Send me the log files to support [at] wp-staging.com

    I try to replicate the issue than.

    Something else you can do?

    Enable wordpress debug mode in wp-config.php by entering the lines below:

    define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );
    define( ‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true );

    Instructions: https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress

    Than try to open again the staging site and send me the log file which you find at wp-content/debug.log
