So I am running multiple wordpress sites and all of them seem to work fine when you go to the individual items except on one

example of a site working right everything works fine here when you click on an entry

but on if you click on an entry in the upper left hand corner it says Read More and i need that to go away and i can’t figure out why it won’t.

  • I would check your single.php
There’s something wrong in that template.
Most like a php tag that’s not properly closed or something.

I thought that also but the template is identical to the other ones on my site I literally just copied all the files over and all my other sites work fine.

it is meta og code in the head section – starting with:

<!-- Open Graph tags provided by Social Sharing Toolkit v2.1.1 -->

and the error line (of your latest post) is:

<meta property="og:description" content="On this belated Halloween special Brian, Jamie and Dani sit down to do a commentary track for the original Night of the Living Dead. Instructions: Star the podcast first. There is a short intro and then we start the movie<span class="ellipsis">&hellip;</span><div class="read-more"><a href="">Read more ›</a></div><!-- end of .read-more -->"/>

i.e. the corresponding plugin is possibly using some wrong function to create the meta og description.
    deactivate the plugin.

the working site seems to be using a differnt plugin for the meta og data:
<!-- Jetpack Open Graph Tags -->

Awesome Thank you that worked instantly 🙂
