# [Advanced Excerpt] read more loop on mobile

 * I really love the Advanced Excerpt plugin and it has proved useful on desktop
   and tablet, but I have an issue with it on mobiles.
 * When you click the ‘read more’ link on a mobile, you are taken to the articles
   page as per usual. However, the rest of the text is not displayed, just the ‘
   read more’ link again. Click that and the page basically just refreshes and shows
   the same excerpt again, meaning that no one can read the whole content on a mobile.
 * For the time being I have disabled the plugin, but I was wondering if anyone 
   has run into this before? I am using the WPtouch plugin, but the same is the 
   case with the jetpack mobile theme.
 * Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

 * I just had a quick look and it appears that the WPtouch plugin is affecting the`
   $wp_query` global in an odd manner.
 * I’ll look into getting this fixed up for you in the next release of the plugin.

 * I was having the same issue with WPtouch but I also just downloaded Version 4.2.4b1
   and it solved the problem.
