Read More button has disappeared from preview

    Hi,
    The ‘Read More’ button has disappeared from the preview of an unpublished post I am editing.
    It was there yesterday but going to edit it further today it is not showing in the preview changes window.

    I have disabled and re-abled all the plug-ins.
    I am not familiar with CSS/code so a fix that avoids this would be appreciated.

    Okay, you tried deactivating and activating plugins. But the plugins doesn’t cause the read more button/link to go away. The read more button only appears after your post is published.
    If you want to add a read more button… you can add a jump break. Or if you were using HTML via a text editor,–rather than a visual editor use the following tag, and place it in your text editor:
    <--more-->
    Publish your post, and go to your posts pages where recent posts were published to varify if your read more button/link is visible.
    The more tag will not appear during previewing of a post.
