Logs are king
If you’re having an issue where you’re getting any sort of error messaging, it’s difficult to help you without seeing logs. Read Debugging in WordPress for detailed information.
TL;DR – Set define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ); and define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true ); in wp-config.php file. Then, re-run the steps needed to produce the plugin error. Once you’ve done this, you’ll see a new file located at wp-content/debug.log that will contain all WordPress debug logs. Please find the relevant timeframe / section and post it or attach it with your forum post.
